The Project
A&B Rail Services was hired to complete a rail yard expansion including the construct of 3rd lead, and the reconfigure of 1st and 2nd lead connections for BC Rail Properties in Delta, British Columbia.
Deliverables:
- 8,000 track feet of new track
- 7 new 136 lb #10 RBM yard turnouts
- 8,000 feet of new grade construction
- Drainage work and retaining wall installation
The Result

All work was completed safely and efficiently by our team, while communicating with on-site logistics personnel to ensure the site remain active and able to service their customers. For BC Rail Properties, the addition of the 3rd lead with new connections to the existing 1st and 2nd lead, meant an increase in operations efficiency resulting in trains being built and released more efficiently.
