The Project
A&B Rail Services was hired to construct new siding for CN Rail’s New Watson Island existing track in Prince Rupert, BC.
Deliverables:
- 10,400 track feet of concrete tie track constructed
- 2 #20 mainline turnouts installed
- 11,500 tonnes of railway ballast distributed
- 250 thermite welds
- 1,700 wood ties replaced
- 14,000 track feet of rail relay track constructed
The Result
