Reconfiguring McCowan Rd. crossing system.

 

The Project

Signals and Communications: A&B Rail Services was hired to implement a redesign of the McCowan Road crossing Metrolinx Uxbridge Subdivision to extend the approach via a gate delay increase at McCowan Road Mile 48.38, in Markham, Ontario as per as per CROR 14C – Anti Whistling.

 

Deliverables:

  • Reconfigure track layout for mile 48.38
  • Reprogram GCP4000 @ mile 48.38 for new approach distance and gate delay
  • Calibrate crossings 48.38 and 47.17 and perform applicable shunting
  • Train Observations

 

The Result
