New Track Construction: A&B Rail Services was hired to act as the general contractor responsible for the construction of the USD Hardisty Transload Facility in Hardisty, Alberta. The scope of this project included the construction of 54,000 track feet of new track, loop-track design of the CP Rail main line, 3 EA # 9 turn-outs, 16 EA # 11 turn-outs, 1,000,000 cubic yards of common excavation, 150,000 tons of sub-ballast, and underground utilities and access roads.
