A&B Rail Services was hired to provide railway flagging services to City of Edmonton contractors Flatiron, Dragdos, AECOM and Lafarge.
Deliverables
The primary focus of our Flagging team was to help enable the transformation of the City of Edmonton’s newest highway, Anthony Henday Drive. A dedicated group of qualified A&B Rail employees protected hundreds of City of Edmonton’s contractors, numerous pieces of equipment, and rail traffic on CN Rail and CP Rail track while the following projects took place:
- Construction of 8 rail bridges
- Grade separations
- Relocation of site pipelines
- Road construction
The Result
A satisfied client and another quality project completed. This time sensitive and highly involved project is a prime example of A&B Rail Services’ expertise, capabilities and commitment to Doing It Right. A&B Rail Services was able to effectively collaborate with a number of contractors in a high density rail traffic area, while meeting CN Rail’s and CP Rail’s specifications and train schedule requirements. What this means for the City of Edmonton is the ability to improve traffic movement throughout the city, and for the city’s transportation systems the ability to accommodate future increases in traffic growth.
